Squalane

Non-Comedogenic Hydrator • Plant-Derived Squalene

Core Benefits

  • Mimics natural skin oils flawlessly
  • Zero pore-clogging potential
  • Locks in all previous serums

What exactly is it?

Squalane is a highly stable, hydrogenated version of Squalene, a lipid (oil) that occurs entirely naturally in our own human skin. Because it is completely skin-identical, our skin instantly recognizes and absorbs it without sitting on top acting greasy.

How it helps Teen Skin

Many teenagers are terrified of facial oils because they think it will cause enormous breakouts. Squalane is truly the exception. It is 100% non-comedogenic (will not block pores) and signals over-producing teen sebaceous glands that the skin has enough oil, effectively 'tricking' the face into producing less heavy sebum.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Squalane safe for severe fungal acne (Malassezia)?

Yes! Squalane is one of the extremely rare moisturizing oils perfectly safe for teenagers dealing with fungal acne, as the yeast physically cannot feed on its saturated lipid structure.

Where does Squalane come from?

Historically it was extracted from shark livers (terrible), but top-tier modern skincare sources it entirely from pure olives, sugarcane, or rice bran.
